Privacy Policy

The desktop app

HotKit runs entirely on your PC. It does not collect or upload any personal data, and contains no telemetry or analytics.
All your configuration — hotkeys, gestures, snippets, scripts, clipboard history — stays on your machine.
No account or registration is required to use the free features or the trial.
Activating a Pro license sends your license key and a device identifier to our license server for verification; nothing else is transmitted. Once activated, HotKit works offline with periodic revalidation.

hotkit.app is a fully static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
We set no cookies and embed no third-party analytics or ad scripts.
Your browser's localStorage is used only to remember your language preference; it never leaves your device.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard access logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations — see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Payments are handled by our merchant of record, Creem. Your payment details go directly to them — we never see or store your card number. See Creem's privacy policy.
We only receive the basic order information (such as your email address) needed to deliver your license and provide support.
